Classical Music & Dance Competition for children

Pune, November 8: City based NGO – Kalanubhav Charitable Trust that provides guidance and support to young artists will be organising a Classical Music & Dance Competition for the school children of 13 to 16 Years of age. Titled as ‘Kalanubhav Interschool Music Competition’ this competition will be organized in association with SEED Infotech Ltd. The competition will be free and open to all and shall be held between 9.00am and 2.00pm on Sunday, November 13th and Monday, November 14th at ‘Sahakar Sadan’, Bharati Niwas Society Hall, Income Tax Office Lane, Prabhat Road, Erandawane in the city. This information was provided today by Bharati Barhate, trustee of Kalanubhav Charitable Trust.

This competition will be free and open to all students of standard 8th, 9th and 10th who age between 13 to 16 years. Interested candidates can contact 9822019744 or can email to [email protected] the last date of the entries will be Saturday, November 12th.

The competition will be judged by eminent personalities of this field and the top three winners of the competition will be awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs.5,000/- Rs.3,000/- and Rs.2000/- respectively along with few other attractive goodies to all the participants.

The objective of this competition is to encourage budding talent in the field of Indian Classical Music and Dance and give them an appropriate platform for showcasing their performances. Kalanubhav Charitable Trust provides guidance as well as renders a platform to the young people who wants to cultivate and express their hobbies and arts while offering them a proper guidance, support and a pat on the back. The trust is renowned for organising various music programs and art shows to Punekars.
