CLAT 2021: CLAT Exam Scheduled For June 13, CNLUs Extended Application Deadline

New Delhi, 16th May 2021: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2021) has been postponed in view of increasing cases of coronavirus disease (COVID19). This exam was to be conducted on 13 June 2021. Not only this, the date to apply for the exam has also been extended till June 15. This decision was taken at the executive committee meeting of the Consortium of National Law Universities on Saturday.

The committee has postponed the CLAT exam to be held on June 13, keeping in mind the increasing cases of corona across the country and the safety and health of the candidates. Earlier, the Consortium of National Law Universities had said that in the first week of May, it would make a decision on the exam date given the situation.

Candidates who have not yet applied for CLAT can apply by visiting consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Earlier, the last date to apply was 30 April 2021. According to the new notice, the last date for application is 15 June 2021. The 22 National Law Universities across the country have to appear in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2021) examination conducted for admission to UG and PG law courses.
