Coronavirus: 59,318 Patients Discharged Today, 34,389 New Cases In Maharashtra
Mumbai, 16th May 2021: A total of 59,318 patients were discharged and 34,389 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 974 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 1.52%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 53,78,452 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 48,26,371 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 1.52%. As of today, there are 4,68,109 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 89.74% while the fatality rate in the state is 1.52%. Currently 34,91,981 people are in home quarantine and 28,398 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 3,11,03,991 laboratory samples 53,78,452 have been tested positive (17.29%) for COVID-19 until today.
