Cloudy Skies and Thunderstorms Forecasted for Pune: IMD’s Weather Update For Till 24th April
Pune, 18th April 2024: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released its forecast for the upcoming week in Pune, predicting varied weather patterns. Starting from April 18th to April 24th, the IMD anticipates cloudy conditions throughout, with intermittent changes.
The forecast details that the initial two days, April 18th and 19th, will witness a partly cloudy sky, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and expected rainfall. Following this, on April 20th, the weather will transition from a mainly clear sky to partly cloudy towards the afternoon and evening.
Moving into April 21st and 22nd, the IMD expects the continuation of partly cloudy skies, with thunderstorm activity, lightning, and further chances of rain.
In the latter part of the week, specifically April 23rd and 24th, Pune residents can expect partly cloudy conditions persisting.
Regarding temperatures, Koregaon Park is projected to experience highs of around 42 degrees Celsius and lows of 25 degrees Celsius, maintaining this trend for the week ahead.
Meanwhile, residents of Koregaon Park have expressed concerns about the environmental impact on their area. They attribute the decline in greenery and increasing concrete structures to governmental actions over the past year, lamenting the loss of trees and natural spaces.
