COLLEGE OF NURSING AFMC PUNE, INTER COMMAND CNE ON ‘HEMODYNAMIC MONITORING – A KEY FUNCTION OF NURSING MANAGEMENT’

Pune, 18th August 2022: Inter Command CNE on “Hemodynamic Monitoring – A Key Function of Nursing Management” was held on 17 Aug 2022 at College of Nursing, Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. Director & Commandant AFMC was the chief guest for the occasion.

 

 

 

The event was graced by Additional Director General Military Nursing Service. The Keynote address on the topic “Hemodynamic Monitoring-Crux of Critical Care Nursing” was delivered by Mrs Jasmin Anand, Professor and Head of Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, CMC Vellore. She highlighted the importance of Nurse’s role and function in monitoring hemodynamically unstable patients.

 

 

 

The CNE had an array of conceptual & skill-based sessions by renowned Medical and Nursing practitioners pan India. The scientific and skill-based sessions were patient centric and provided in depth understanding about various aspects of hemodynamic monitoring. The skill-based sessions conducted by subject experts provided hands on training and helped them to identify the nursing competencies required to care for hemodynamically compromised patients. The CNE offered a platform for undergraduate Nursing students from all over India to present scientific papers, and also an opportunity for Nursing Officers to participate in concept mapping and quiz on nursing care aspects of hemodynamic monitoring.

 

 

 

The CNE was attended by Nursing Officers from Armed Forces Medical Services, civil hospitals and Nursing Colleges of Maharashtra.
