Colleges In Maharashtra To Reopen From February 1, State Government Gives Green Signal

Pune, 25th January 2022: Maharashtra state government today allowed the colleges to reopen from February 1, informed Higher Education Minister Uday Samant.

“Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has given the order to start offline classes in colleges from February 1. Students who have taken both doses of the vaccine against coronavirus disease (COVID19) will be allowed to attend offline classes”, Samant tweeted.

Earlier, the state government had allowed the schools to resume offline classes.

Both schools and colleges in Maharashtra were closed due to rising COVID cases. However, now they have been allowed to reopen.
