Corona Rules Violated By Newly Appointed Pimpri Chinchwad Deputy Mayor

Pimpri, 23 March 2021: The newly appointed Pimpri Chinchwad deputy mayor Hirabai alias Nani Ghule on the first day of her office violated the Covid-19 guidelines. Ghule won the deputy mayor elections unopposed as Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate backtrack at the last moment.

The elections took place online owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. BJP candidate Ghule won the elections. However, her supporters grossly violated the covid-19 norms as many of them were not wearing the mask and social distancing.

Pimpri Chinchwad city too is seeing a sharp rise in the Covid-19 cases. Now, there were murmurs in the city whether municipal commissioner Rajesh Patil will take any action against the deputy mayor.
