So far, only the elderly who are over 60 years of age and those above 45 years who have serious diseases are being vaccinated. The government has recently taken this step with the aim of vaccinating a large portion of the population at the earliest. Now, any person who is more than 45 years of age will be able to get a vaccine dose. People can also register for vaccination online and get vaccinated by going to the hospital.

How to get corona vaccine administered?

People who are over 45 years of age can join the vaccination campaign in two ways. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has informed regarding the two methods. He stated that an appointment can be made in advance through CoWIN’s website http://cowin.gov.in. However, if you do not want to get registered in advance, then after three o’clock in the afternoon, you will have to go to your nearest hospital where the corona vaccine is being administered. You will be able to get a dose of Covid-19 vaccine there. It is known that there are two types of corona vaccines being administered in the country. One is CoviShield made by Serum Institute of India and the other is the Indigenous COVIN made by Bharat Biotech.

In private hospitals, people will have to spend money on the vaccine. The government has recently fixed the maximum cost of a single dose of vaccine for a private hospital at Rs. 250.
