Coronavirus: 1 new patient in PCMC detected, 2 from Pune died in YCM Hospital

Pimpri, May 15, 2020: A 60-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, residents of Pune but undergoing treatment at Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s YCM Hospital in Pimpri, died of COVID19 infection today. Out of 11 deaths at the hospital, 7 are from Pune and 4 from PCMC area.

The number of corona cases in Pimpri Chinchwad city is increasing day by day. Till 11.30 am today, the number of Coronavirus positive patients in PCMC reached 184. Till now 116 patients have been cured and discharged. There are still 64 active patients undergoing treatment at various hospitals.

To date, 11 people have succumbed to the deadly virus. The first victim in the city died on April 12th. This person was a resident of Thergaon area. On April 20, a woman from Nigdi and a resident of Pune but admitted to YCM died. A man from Nigdi died on April 24, a woman from Khadki on April 29 and two women each from Shivajinagar and Yerwada in Pune on May 6. A man from Bhosari died on May 10, a man from Pune on May 11 and a woman and a man from Pune died on May 15.
