Coronavirus: 10,216 New Cases In Maharashtra, 53 Deaths

Mumbai, March 08, 2021: A total of 6467 patients were discharged and 10,216 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra yesterday. Yesterday, 53 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.38%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 21,98,399  informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 20,55,951 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.38%. As of yesterday, there are 88,838 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 93.52% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.38%. Currently, 4,10,411 people are in home quarantine and 4203 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 1,66,86,880  laboratory sample 21,98,399 have been tested positive (13.17) for COVID-19 until yesterday.
