Pune: 1803 new Corona patients in Pune district, 10 deaths

Pune, March 06, 2021: With the addition of 1803 fresh Coronavirus positive yesterday, the total number of COVID cases has reached 4,15,477 in the Pune district. Also, 1223 patients got discharged from hospitals while 10 people died.
Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 4,15,477 patients 3,93,661 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 9286 people have died. There are still 12,699 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 12,699, 7912 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 23,76,732 people have been tested in the district.
The 4,15,477 patients include 2,06,383 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 1,07,832 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 7239 from Cantonment areas, 72,903 are from Rural areas, and 21,120 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
