Coronavirus: 25,833 New Cases In Maharashtra, 58 Deaths

Mumbai, March 18, 2021: A total of 12,764 patients were discharged and 25,833 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 58 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.22%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 23,96,340 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 21,75,565 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.22%. As of today, there are 1,66,353 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 90.79% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.22%. Currently, 8,13,211 people are in home quarantine and 7,079 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 1,79,56,830 laboratory sample 23,96,340 have been tested positive (13.35%) for COVID-19 until today.
