Coronavirus : 3381 new COVID cases in Pune district, 9615 in Maharashtra today   

Mumbai, July 24, 2020: A total of 5714 patients were discharged and 9615 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 3381 new cases were reported in Pune today. Today, 278 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.68%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 3,57,117 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 1,99,967 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.68%. As of today, there are 1,43,714 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 55.99% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.68%. Currently, 8,88,976 people are in home quarantine and 45,838 people are in institutional quarantine.

 

Out of 17,87,306 laboratory samples, 3,57,117 have been tested positive (19.98%) for COVID-19 until today.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,287,945 across the country. Out of this, 817,208 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 30,601 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 440,135 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
