Coronavirus: 62,194 New Cases In Maharashtra, 853 Deaths
Mumbai, May 6, 2021: A total of 63,842 patients were discharged and 62,194 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 853 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 1.49%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 49,42,736 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 42,27,940 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 1.49%. As of today, there are 6,39,075 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 85.54% while the fatality rate in the state is 1.49%. Currently, 38,26,089 people are in home quarantine and 29,406 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 2,86,61,668 laboratory samples 49,42,736 have been tested positive (17.25%) for COVID-19 until today
