Coronavirus: 6971 New Cases In Maharashtra, 35 Deaths

Mumbai, Feb 21, 2021: A total of 2417 patients were discharged and 6971 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 35 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.47%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 21,00,884 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 19,94,947 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.47%. As of today, there are 52,956 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 94.96% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.47%. Currently, 2,42,563 people are in home quarantine and 1732 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 1,57,20,259 laboratory samples, 21,00,884 have been tested positive (13.36%) for COVID-19 until today.
