Coronavirus: 7924 new cases in Maharashtra today, tally reaches to 3,83,723

Mumbai, July 27, 2020: A total of 8706 patients were discharged and 7924 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 1927 new cases were reported in Pune today. Today, 227 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.62%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 3,83,723 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 2,21,944 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.62%. As of today, there are 1,47,592 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 57.84% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.62%. Currently, 9,22,637 people are in home quarantine and 44,136 people are in institutional quarantine.

Out of 19,25,399 laboratory samples, 3,83,723 have been tested positive (19.92%) for COVID-19 until today.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,435,454 across the country. Out of this, 917,568 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 32,771 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 917,568 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
