Khadki: 31 new COVID cases reported today, 7 discharged

Pune, 27 July 2020: With 31 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 552 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 552, a total of 377 people have been cured while 18 have died.

According to KCB, there are still 157 active patients undergoing treatment. 57 of them are admitted to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment General Hospital in Khadki, while others are admitted in different hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. There are 276 people under home quarantine while 1310 have completed the quarantine period.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 17264 out of which 11530 have been cured while 292 have died. 3451 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 302 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 77 non-PCMC residents have died.

Across Maharashtra, 2,21,944 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.62%. As of today, there are 1,47,592 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 57.84% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.62%. Currently, 9,22,637 people are in home quarantine and 44,136 people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 19,25,399 laboratory samples, 3,83,723 have been tested positive (19.92%) for COVID-19 until today.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,435,454 across the country. Out of this, 917,568 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 32,771 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 917,568 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
