Coronavirus: These four areas to be sealed in Pimpri Chinchwad from today midnight
Pimpri, April 8, 2020: After Coronavirus positive patients were found in some areas, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has decided to seal some areas in Chikhli, Thergaon, Kharalwadi and Dighi, from today midnight.
According to officials, nobody from these areas will be allowed go outside and neither anyone from outside will be allowed to go there, except those engaged in essential services. Residents have been asked to wear mask or tie handkerchief around their face.
PCMC Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar said that Corona infection has created a health emergency in the city. Considering the number of affected patients in the city, it is necessary to limit the movement of citizens in some areas. Therefore, four parts of the city are being sealed until further orders.
These areas in Pimpri Chinchwad to be sealed :
– Gharkul, Chikhali: Building A-1 to 20. Pawar Industrial premises, Nevale vasti.
– Jama Masjid, Kharalwadi, Pimpri: Girme Hospital – Agrasen Library – Krishna Traders – Chatali Park Society – Kharal Aai Garden – Om Hospital – Oriental Bank – City Pride Hotel – Crystal Court Hotel.
– Kamalraj Balaji Residency, Rode Hospital, Dighi: MVS Computer – Absolutely Gift Shopee – Sai Temple – Anushka Optical – Rode Hospital.
– Shivatirthanagar, Padwalnagar, Thergaon: Shirole Clinic – Ganesh Temple – Nidaan Clinic – Kirti Medical – Rahmania Mosque – Orchid Hospital – Ashoka Society.
