Pune, 26th January 2024: Sudarshan Jagdale, president of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Pune, criticized national politics, describing it as ‘politics at its lowest ebb.’ He emphasized that the misconception of winning elections solely through financial power needs to be dispelled. “While our predecessors fought the British for liberation, today’s generation unfortunately grapples with fundamental issues like corruption and unemployment”, he said.

Jagdale was speaking after unfurling the national flag to celebrate the 75th Republic Day near Deccan bus stop.
Chief guests Manjiri Sameer Ghadge, president of All India Mahatma Phule Samata Parishad, and entrepreneur Ashatai Kamble attended the ceremony organized by AAP Pune.

AAP State spokesperson Mukund Kirdat underscored citizens’ responsibility to adopt and implement constitutional rights for public welfare and in the public interest.
Dr. Abhijit More highlighted the current attempts by communal forces to disrupt the country’s social unity, coupled with a growing economic inequality. This, he emphasized, elevates the responsibility of citizens to tackle these challenges.
