Covid-19 Vaccination: Corona Vaccine Prices Fixed For Private Hospitals, Government May Announce Soon

New Delhi, February 27, 2021: Covid-19 Vaccination is being carried out in the country at a rapid pace. According to sources, the central government has also fixed the price of one dose of Corona vaccine that is Rs 250 and the cost of both doses together as Rs 500. This price has been fixed for the vaccine being offered in a private hospital. The vaccine is soon to be administered for the elderly over 60 years and those above 45 years of age with serious illnesses. The government may soon announce the price of the vaccine.

Providing more information regarding the same, Gujarat Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that the price of the Corona vaccine will be Rs 250 in private hospitals and it will be provided free in government hospitals across the state.

Corona vaccination to commence in private hospitals from March 1

The second phase of Corona vaccination, which starts from March 1, includes government health centers as well as private hospitals. You will have the option to get vaccinated at the center of your choice. Eligible people will be registered on the spot to get the vaccine. For this, they must bring their ID proof along, one which states the date of birth. One must carry their Aadhar card along with the ID proof.

Corona cases increase once again in these states of the country

After the increase in Corona cases in eight states and union territories, the cabinet secretary will hold a review meeting today. On Friday, there were 113 deaths of 16,488 new cases in the country. Maharashtra reported 8,333 new cases. There have been 3,671 cases in Kerala and 622 in Punjab. With this, Corona active cases have increased to 1.56 lakhs in the country.
