Cricket is Life. Life is Cricket.’ –  this book written by Jiten Shende traces his exciting journey, capturing his experiencesduring his early cricket days, his superb performances, the amazing people he met, the ups and downs he faced determinedly, his entry into the Kirloskar Group and finally, his transformation into a effective and performing CEO at the age of 34.

Jiten, a budding left arm spinner in th 80’s, was an integral part of the world famous school cricket team which catapulted SachinTendulkar and Vinod Kambli into instant stardom. He played for Maharashtra in the under -19 team and was also a part of the probables list for the Ranji Trophy. Over the years, he transformed into a hard-hitting batsman and all-rounder and continued to play for his club, company and even some professional teams winning many tournaments, personal prizes and achieving rare feats.

The book launch was attended by about 150+ special invites, comprising of  industry stalwarts including the Kirloskars, CEO’s of large corporates, Founders & CEO’s of IT companies. also in attendance would be professional cricketers who have played for India, Mumbai and Maharashta. the book launch itself is done by the chief guest, mr.
