17 Jan 2020, India- It is a professional T20 cricket league in India that takes place on March or April of the year with eight participating teams representing eight different cities in India. It is the most-attended cricket league in the world organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). IPL is the first sporting event in the world that is broadcasted live on YouTube in 2010.

Virat Kohli, the captain of the India National team who was also regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world, holds the record for the most runs made in IPL. Some of the team star players are Lasith Malinga, the current T20 international captain of Sri Lanka who holds the highest number of wickets, and Suresh Raina having the record of most overall catches with a total of 102 catches. The current champion of this league is the Mumbai Indians.

Indian Cricket League (ICL)

Funded by Zee Entertainment Enterprises, it includes two match seasons between four international teams (World XI, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh) and nine domestic teams. It is also a T20 cricket league founded in 2009 but was not immediately supported by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and International Cricket Council (ICC).

Karnataka Premier League

It is a T20 league established by Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in 2009. Mantri Developers was the first title sponsor who paid ₹110 million (US$1.5 million) for 5 years. However, KPL is inactive in the year 2011-2013. After its hiatus, Karbonn Mobile won a 3-year title sponsorship for KPL. The recent champion of this league is the Hubli Tigers.

Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL)

It is a league formed by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) in 2016, in which the first season is inaugurated by MS Dhoni. In 2017 and 2019, Chepauk Super Gillies became the most successful team after winning a title from TNPL. Currently, the sponsor of this league is Sankar Cements. The current champion of this league is Chepauk Super Gillies.

It is a professional T20 league initiated by Kota District Cricket Association under the affiliation of Rajasthan Cricket Association. The current champion of this league is Kota Chambal Tigers.

Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

It is a T20 domestic championship league in India organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The name of this league is named after Syed Mushtaq Ali, an Indian cricketer who holds the record of scoring the first overseas Test scoring 112 against England in 1936 at Old Trafford.
