CSIR Announces Exam Dates for Section Officer (SO) and Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Recruitment

New Delhi, 17th January 2024: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has officially released the examination dates for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the recruitment of Section Officer (SO) and Assistant Section Officer (ASO). The examination is scheduled to take place from February 5 to February 20, 2024. Candidates are advised to note these dates for their preparation.

Exam Details:
– The CSIR SO and ASO recruitment exam will be conducted in CBT format.
– Paper 1 is scheduled from 10 am to 12 noon, and Paper 2 will be held from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
– Reporting time for Paper 1 is at 8:30 am, while for Paper 2, candidates should report to the respective centres at 1:30 pm.

Admit Card Information:
– Admit cards for the CSIR SO and ASO recruitment exam will be issued 10 days before the commencement of the examination.
– The admit cards will be accessible through the official website of CSIR (csir.res.in).
– Candidates can download their admit cards by entering the required login credentials.
