Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment Commences, Over 5,600 Positions Available
New Delhi, 22nd January 2024: The application process for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) in the railway sector has commenced today, January 20, 2024. As per the information released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), interested and eligible candidates can apply for the ALP positions available across the country.

According to the information provided by the RRB, a total of 5,696 appointments will be made for various positions in different zones throughout the country. Candidates wishing to apply for these positions should be between 18 and 30 years of age as of July 1, 2024. However, candidates from reserved categories will be eligible for age relaxation.
Unreserved candidates applying for this recruitment must pay a fee of Rs. 500, while candidates from SC, ST, ex-servicemen, women, transgender, minority, and economically backward classes need to pay a fee of Rs. 250. For candidates applying for the Railway Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment, a correction window will be open after the completion of the application process.
