Daund-Indore, Ahmedabad-Chennai Special Trains Canceled Due To Low Occupancy

Pune, 8th May 2021: Special train number 02943/02944 plying between Daund – Indore – Daund has been canceled till further notice due to the low number of passengers, Pune railway division informed today.

Apart from this, the weekly special train number 09219/09220 running between Ahmedabad-Chennai has also been canceled till further notice.

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, there is a strict lockdown in the state. Most migrants who wanted to return to their native places have already gone in the last one month. Hence, there is low occupancy nowadays and many trains have been canceled, railway officials said.
