Daylight Robbery At Pune Jewelry Store; 25-30 Tolas Of Gold Stolen Using Fake Pistol

Dhayari, 16th April 2025: A daylight robbery took place at Shri Saraf Jewelers in Dhayari, Pune, where three individuals made off with 25 to 30 tolas of gold. The incident has caused a stir in the locality, and CCTV footage has captured the entire crime.

According to the police, Vishnu Sakharam Dahival, the owner of Shri Saraf Jewelers located near Kalubai Chowk in Raikar Mala, and his staff were present in the store when the robbery occurred. One individual entered the store and asked to see a gold chain. While the owner was showing the chain, two unknown accomplices entered the shop shortly after. The two men displayed pistols, threatened the owner, and began to use abusive language. They then snatched the gold worth 25 to 30 tolas from the counter.

When Vishnu Dahival attempted to resist, the robbers started assaulting him. One of the assailants struck the owner’s head with a pistol, breaking part of the weapon in the process. The three thieves then fled the scene on a motorcycle, taking the gold with them.

The entire robbery was captured on CCTV, and the police have formed a team to track down the suspects. However, when the police inspected the jewelry store, they found part of the pistol, which was later identified as a toy gun typically used for play. Authorities are continuing their search for the robbers.

The investigation is ongoing, with the police looking into the suspects’ identities and trying to gather more information from the footage to ensure a swift resolution to this bold robbery.
