DCP Smartana Patil Externs 12 Criminals From Pune
Pune, 6th June 2023: Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone Two) Smartana Patil has taken decisive action against 12 criminals involved in serious crimes across Pune city.
The crackdown has resulted in the arrest of Suraj Tajmohamad Siddique (20, resident of Gultekdi), Vivek Baburao Chorge (23, resident of Balajinagar, Dhankawadi), Dheeraj Ranganath Arde (25, resident of Padmavati), Ganesh Sunil More (26, resident of Dhankawadi), Kiran Vaman Jagtap (25, resident of Padmavati), Tanaji Rajabhau Jadhav (38, resident of Santoshnagar, Katraj), Pradeep Rama Jadhav (29, resident of Jambhulwadi, Katraj), Ganesh Vijay Bhandalkar (21, resident of Katraj), Aditya alias Dinesh Yuvraj Oval (22, resident of Koregaon Park), Sagar Kalyan Mane (30, resident of Koregaon Park), Arbaaz Hasan Qureshi (23, resident of Camp), and Rohan Mallesh Tupadhar (23, resident of Tadiwala Road).
The arrested criminals have had cases registered against them at Swargate, Sahakarnagar, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Koregaon Park, Lashkar, and Bundagarden police stations. They have been ordered to leave Pune city, Pimpri-Chinchwad city, as well as the district.
The charges pressed against them include attempted murder, robbery, extortion, molestation, obstruction of government work, and possession of illegal weapons.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Smartana Patil emphasized that preventive measures will be taken against such criminals in the future.
This operation was carried out under the guidance of Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr, Joint Commissioner Sandeep Karnik, and Additional Commissioner Praveen Kumar Patil.
