Deccan Monsters, RCBC Legends Shine in Pune Cue Sports Premier League
Pune, 26th November 2025: Deccan Monsters, RCBC Legends, Poona Club Magicians and Deccan Aces teams defeated their opponents and advanced in the ‘Pune Cue Sports Premier League’ Inter Club Snooker Tournament organized by Royal Connaught Boat Club (RCBC).
The matches of the tournament were held at Royal Connaught Boat Club (RCBC), Poona Club, PYC Hindu Gymkhana and Deccan Gymkhana Club Snooker Hall on a ‘home’ and ‘away’ basis. In a closely fought match, Deccan Monsters defeated Poona Cue Club Mafia 3-2. Sachin Biche defeated Rohinton Irani 98-63 to give Deccan a 1-0 lead. In the doubles match, Aniket Sanghvi and Sunil Asher of Poona Club defeated Rajendra Adhav and Sunil Algude of Deccan Gymkhana 64-43 to level the match at 1-1. Vitthal Dhamale defeated Sanjay Diddi 71-20 to give Deccan a 2-1 lead. Ashraf Parwani defeated Deccan’s Sachin Biche 54-39 to level the match. In the deciding match, Vitthal Dhamale defeated Aniket Sanghvi 101-67 to give Deccan a 3-2 win.
RCBC Legends easily defeated PYC Warriors 3-0 with the help of Vijay Nachani, Rishi Ramayya, Muneej Poonawalla and Pankaj Sahni. Deccan Gymkhana Aces defeated PYC Giants 3-0. Deccan Aces’ Samar Khandelwal, Prashant Pawar, Ajinkya Mehta and Siddharth Tembe remained unbeaten and secured the team’s victory. Poona Club Magicians defeated RCBC Dominators 3-1 with the help of winning performances by Ayan Khan and Suraj Rathi.
