DELHI – EXTORTION CASE OF ONE YOUNG BUSINESSMAN FOR 26 LAKH
The Police teams of PS Paschim Vihar/Outer District had ALREADY worked out the Sensational case of Extortion of a young Entrepreneur/Businessman r/o Paschim Vihar, Delhi with the arrest of two extortionists namely (1) Azim Khan (31years) R/o Daryaganj, Delhi and (2) Kamran Khan R/o Daryaganj,Delhi, in less than 24 hours.
INCIDENT:
On 6/11/2018, a PCR call regarding abduction of a person and threat to kill him was received at P.S Paschim Vihar. On receipt of this information and sensing the danger to the life of the person, different teams were formed for safe rescue of abducted person. The police teams of P.S Paschim Vihar under the supervision of ACP/Paschim Vihar swung into action and located the hide out of criminals on the basis of technical surveillance. The VictimR/O Odisha was safely rescued. Accordingly Case FIR No.634/18, u/s 347/387/506/34IPC, dated 7.11.2018 was registered at PS Paschim Vihar and investigation was taken up.
The dedicated teams led by ACP Paschim Vihar Ms. Akanksha Yadav comprising of Insp. Arun Dev Nehra (SHO/PS PaschimVihar), Insp Madhav Krishna (Inspector Investigation/Paschim Vihar), HCsNityanand, Virender, Jaswant, Manoj, Devender and Cts Mukesh, Vinod &Pankaj swung into action and cracked this sensational extortion case inshortest possible time with the arrest of above mentioned two accused alongwith recovery after a big search operation where police personnel alsoposed as customers. Moreover, thehostage was rescued safe and sound. The accused persons had lured the victiminto a trap and confined him at an unknown location and extorted an amount ofRs. 26 lakh.
FURTHER INVESTIGATION AND RECOVERY:
During further investigation, the teams got significant information fromthe second victim R/o West Mumbai. Initially, he was not disclosing the entirefacts, but after taking him into confidence, he stated that the extortionistsAjim khan and Kamran Khan made him to pay Rs. 15,00,000/- throughRTGS to a Jewellar based in Dariba, Chandni Chowk, Delhi and four gold coinsand a gold ginni worth Rs 15,00,000/- were purchased from the jeweller.
Thereafter, two days’ police remand of bothaccused persons Ajim and Kamran Khan was obtained. During sustainedinterrogation, four gold coins and a gold ginni worth Rs 15,00,000/-which was purchased from the jeweller, wererecovered at the instance of the accused persons. Thus, the entire lootedamount and gold coins have been recovered.
