New Delhi, 12th January 2022: The Special Cell of Delhi Police has registered a case against the Sikh for Justice organization under several sections on the directions of the apex court on the complaint in this regard before the Justice hearing the case.
Advocates demanding the formation of a committee to probe into the issue of security lapses of the Prime Minister in Punjab are continuously receiving death threats from Canada.
The case has been registered on the complaint of Supreme Court advocate Deepak Prakash. In the allegation, he said, “he and many lawyer associates have received threats from the number of London. The caller is threatening all the above lawyers, who are taking part in the hearing of the Prime Minister’s security in the Supreme Court.”
In the complaint, the lawyers are being threatened and told that they should stay back from the ongoing matter regarding the security of the PM in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court did nothing in the 1984 case.
The matter of security of the Prime Minister is a serious matter. In such a situation, getting threatening calls to many lawyers from abroad is a serious matter. Lawyers are getting threats for three days.
PM Modi had gone on a Punjab tour recently. A case of a lapse in his security had come to light in Firozpur. The Supreme Court has decided to conduct a judicial inquiry on a petition in the matter of lapse in the security of PM Modi. The Supreme Court has constituted a four-member inquiry committee headed by Justice Indu Malhotra.
While the BJP has described the lapse in the security of PM Modi as a serious matter, Congress has accused it of doing politics. The Chief Minister of Punjab had claimed that there was no lapse in PM Modi’s security.
He had said, “there was no threat to PM Modi. The Punjab government has also constituted an inquiry committee in this matter. There is a war of words between the BJP and Congress on this issue. Both the parties are attackers on each other.”Follow Punekar News:
