Detection of Laptop Bag Lifting case within 20 minutes after 182 message By RPF Pune Division.
22 Feb 2019, PUNE – On 21-22/02/2019 at 01/10 Hrs. while performing Duty by *TOPB Detection team* under Guidence ASC/Pune & supervision of Inspector/Pune hedead By SIPF C.A.Rokade along with HC Bapu Sonawane, HC Pramod Kshatriya, CT Vinod Pansare, received message from CT. Vijendra Kumar that, ” one black colour laptop bag has been stolen from Train no.-18519 (Visakapatnam-LTT Exp.) From S-4 Coach at pune stn PF No.1.”
Above message was received from Helpline no.182.Above said officer and RPF staff immediately rushed to the said location but, train had started already.
Above staff immediately searched for suspected persons at station and nearby area.
At around 01/35 Hrs near S.T.bus stand they found one suspected person namley Ashish Dashrath Rajawat Age- 20, R/O- Kakra, Nayagaon, Dist.- Bhind (M.P.) who weared said laptop bag. Above team apprehended and brought him to RPF Thana PUNE where he confessed of the crime. In the bag one Lenovo laptop, 500 rs cash, and some documents total worth Rs. 51,000/-was found.
After interrogation
a case in GRP has been registered vide CR. NO. 183/19 U/S 379 IPC dated- 22/02/2019.
Owner of the bag who had called over 182 RPF helpline for the help expressed her thanks to the team RPF,Pune.
