Developers From Pune And Pimpri Chinhwad Get Notices From SRA Over Delay In Completion Of Project
Pune 12th Oct 2023: The Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) has issued notices to the developers over delay in completing the projects in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. The officials have also warned of taking over the project over further delay. A total of 22 such developers have been served notices.
The decision comes after the officials of the SRA have found that many developers in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad have not started the work despite getting all the permissions while some of them have halted the work. This further causes problems to the slum dwellers whose houses were demolished by promising a pucca house in a building developed under the SRA scheme.
The SRA officials have recently identified projects that are pending for over 4 to 5 years. The developers have been asked to explain the reason for the delay or start of the projects. The officials have now decided to get the projects completed from the developers on priority and SRA is also planning to take over the projects if there is no progress despite warning and the same will allocated to other developers.
