Dhananjay Munde, third Minister in Maharashtra, found COVID19 positive

Mumbai, June 13, 2020: The state cabinet minister Dhananjay Munde has confirmed the corona infection. Apart from Munde, six people including his driver, private secretary have also been found COVID19 positive. Munde was also present at the state cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Earlier, he also attended a program organized to celebrate the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) foundation day.

Munde is the third minister in the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray cabinet who was infected with Corona. Earlier, Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad and Public Works Minister Ashok Chavan were also found to be Corona positive and both ministers have recovered from Coronavirus. Munde is handling the Ministry of Social Justice & Welfare.

After confirming the corona infection of Munde, an MLA from Parli in Beed district, those who met him during the last two-three days may also undergo a corona test. According to the information, Munde himself has asked the people to get them tested. Munde had inaugurated a testing lab in Beed district on June 8.
