New Delhi, 26th February 2025: Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma are currently making headlines due to the rumors regarding their divorce. Although neither of them has officially confirmed anything, their cryptic social media posts have managed to fuel such speculations.

Amid these rumors, an old video of them from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11 is going viral. In the clip, Yuzvendra Chahal seemed to have claimed that Dhanashree used to demand diamonds from him after every fight. Chahal had appeared on the show to support Dhanashree, and during their conversation, he humorously mentioned that she always asked for diamonds as a gift after arguments.
Dhanashree Used to Demand Diamonds After Fights
On the show, hosts Rithvik Dhanjani and Gauahar Khan made Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma play a guessing game. In this game, Dhanashree had to hold a placard with a word written on it, while Chahal was supposed to give her hints to guess the word within 10 seconds.
During the game, Dhanashree held up a placard with the word Diamond written on it. Seeing this, Chahal playfully said, “This is what you demand from me after our fights.” To which Dhanashree, surprised, responded, “What? Sorry?” However, she failed to guess the correct answer in time. Chahal then clarified that she often asked him for diamonds after their arguments.
Chahal Later Clarified His Statement
Chahal’s remark was purely a joke, which even took Dhanashree by surprise. Chahal later clarifies that Dhanashree does not actually ask for diamonds, it was all in good fun. However, his fans have started linking this video to his married life.
