DIAT, PUNE AND PUNE KNOWLEDGE CLUSTER JOINTLY ORGANIZED 5-DAY HANDS – ON TRAINING WORKSHOP ON SENSOR TECHNOLOGY COMMENCING FROM 14TH NOV 2022 TO 18TH NOV

Pune, 15th November 2022: Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune, and Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC) is jointly organized 5-day hands – on training residential workshop on Sensor Technology commencing from 14th Nov 2022 to 18th Nov 2022.

 

Training will be conducted on sensor technology workflow by performing experiments and hands-on training starting from material synthesis to prototype design. The workshop will cover importance of sensors in today’s era of Internet-of-Things, starting from sensor functional materials and their characterization, data acquisition and signal processing for sensor technology to laboratory session on microcomputers, biosensors, advanced and futuristic sensor technology with artificial intelligence and machine learning and prototype development. The key beneficiaries of the program would be students, faculty, and Industry professionals studying and interested in the similar areas.

 

This one-week training attended by about 30 participants from various institute across the country and the training as well as lectures will be given by experts from DIAT, IISER Pune, Agharkar Research Institute and CENSE IISc, Bangalore etc.

 

On this occasion, Dr. C. P. Ramanarayanan, Vice Chancellor, DIAT extended the warm wishes to the organizing team and asked participants for their active participation. Prof. Ajit Kembhavi, Principal Scientific Advisor of PKC also stated that such training programme will be benefitted to research scholars and professionals to better understanding the sensor technology.
