Director Basil Joseph and Ranveer Singh Gear Up for ‘Shaktimaan’ Production
Mumbai, 17th February 2024: Ranveer Singh’s upcoming venture, “Shaktimaan,” helmed by director Basil Joseph, is set to commence filming in May of this year. This project marks a significant addition to Ranveer’s busy schedule, which includes other anticipated films such as “Don 3” and “Singham Again.”
The journey towards “Shaktimaan” has been meticulous, with the team dedicating over three years to crafting a script that honours the iconic legacy of the superhero. With Sony Pictures India and Sajid Nadiadwala onboard as producers, the stage is set for an ambitious cinematic endeavour.
The collaboration between Singh and Joseph was hinted at earlier by Tovino Thomas, adding an air of excitement to the project’s anticipation. While details about the film remain relatively under wraps, the prospect of Singh taking on the role of Shaktimaan has generated considerable buzz among fans and industry insiders alike.
