Door-to-Door Campaign in Ward 25: Raghavendra Mankar Interacts with Residents
Shaniwar Peth, 6th January 2026: Bharatiya Janata Party’s official candidate from Ward No. 25 (Shaniwar Peth–Mahatma Phule Mandai), Raghavendra Bappu Mankar, conducted an extensive door-to-door outreach programme across various localities in the ward, interacting directly with residents and seeking their feedback ahead of the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation elections.
During the campaign, residents in several areas welcomed Mankar with traditional aarti and extended their blessings. The outreach covered multiple pockets of Shaniwar Peth, including Apte Ghat, Mahalirkar Tekdi, Ubha Shaniwar, Tambe Bol, Ghodke Aali, Veer Maruti Chowk, Kadbe Aali, Hasbanis Bakhal, Kalbhe Vasti, Mehunpura and other adjoining areas.
Residents recalled the works undertaken through the ‘24-Hour Public Service’ office and the ‘Mission Swachh Ward 25’ initiative, appreciating the efforts made so far. They also expressed expectations for further development and civic works in the future.
Several BJP office-bearers and local leaders participated in the campaign, including Kasba Assembly constituency general secretary Nilesh Kadam, ward president Sunil Rasal, Dhananjay Dembale, Umesh Navre, Anant Kunte, Ram Dahad, Bhushan Bokil, Atul Murkute, Amit Munot, Sarvesh Pawar, Manish Jadhav, Omkar Dimbale, Kaustubh Gokhale, Mahesh Katdare, Yash Thopte, Kaustubh Gade and Santosh Namjoshi, along with a large number of party workers.
Party leaders said the campaign received an enthusiastic response from citizens, with many residents assuring their support to the BJP in the upcoming civic polls.
