Double crown for Chothani at MSLTA – Yonex Sunrise Hotel Ravine All India Ranking Super Series Under 16 Tennis

Panchgani, November 26: second seeded Kabir Chothani of Gujrat won memorable double crown winning the boys singles and the doubles event at MSLTA – Yonex Sunrise Hotel Ravine All India Ranking Super Series Under 16 Tennis Tournament organized by Ravine Hotel at their tennis courts under the auspices of MSLTA and played at the Ravine Hotel, Panchgani.

In the boys singles final round second seeded Kabir Chothani of Gujrat ended the challenge Advik Natekar of Maharashtra 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 to claim the title. Kabir partnering with Jevin Kanani winning the boys doubles title, the pune duo outplayed the pair of Neeraj Ringangaonkar and Piyush Jadhav of Maharashtra 6-1, 3-6, 10-8 to lift the title.

In the girls finals top seed Maya Rajeshwaran of Tamil Nadu scored a 6-0, 6-2 win over seventh seeded Meghana GD of Karnataka to lift the title. In doubles finals Maharashtra top seed pair Devanshee Prabhudesai and Nanika Reddy outplayed fourth seeded pair Shaivi Dalal of Gujrat and Parthsarthi Mundhe of Maharashtra 6-0, 6-3 to claim doubles title.

The singles winners and runner ups got trophies and certificates. The prizes were given away at the hands of Charlotte Witby Coles, tournament director Javed Sunesara , tournament supervisor Riya Chaphekar were present on the occasion.
