Pune, November 28, 2025: Maharashtra’s rising tennis talent Rishita Yadav clinched a memorable double crown, winning both the girls’ singles and doubles titles at the MSLTA–Navsahyadri Krida Sankul All India Ranking U-16 Championship Series Tennis Tournament 2025. The event was organised by AIM Tennis Academy under the auspices of AITA, MSLTA and PMDTA at the Navsahyadri Krida Sankul Tennis Courts.

In the girls’ singles final, Yadav dominated with a commanding 6-1, 6-1 victory over fellow unseeded player Swara Jawale. She later teamed up with Janhavi Sawant to secure the doubles title, completing a successful outing at the tournament.

In the boys’ singles final, seventh seed Mayank Rajan from Madhya Pradesh staged an impressive comeback to defeat Maharashtra’s Rohan Bajaj 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, halting his opponent’s strong run in the competition.

Top-seeded duo Gowtham Venkatesh B (Tamil Nadu) and Aaryan Kirtane (Maharashtra) lifted the boys’ doubles title with a 6-3, 6-3 win over the pair of Rajan and Aditya Yogi.

Trophies and certificates were presented to the winners and runners-up by Mr. Gajendra Pawar, Owner and Director, Pinnacle Group; Mr. Prakash Sardesai, Consultant, Tata Group; Mr. Sandeep Kirtane, Head Coach, SKT Academy, Deccan Gymkhana; international tennis player and coach Mr. Nitin Kirtane; and guests Ananya Thorat, Avyakta Thorat, along with Supervisor Pravin Zite.
