Dr. Nilkanth Maladkar Unveils Thought-Provoking Literary Masterpieces: SWANANDI & RAJAS

Pune, 12th April 2024: The chief guest of the book launch program, SWANANDI & RAJAS, Rajan Lakhe, remarked that the author’s writing in his literary works reflects real-life experiences. Dr. Nilkanth Maladkar, a senior scientist by profession and a prolific scientific writer, perceives realistic events and experiences, reflecting them through his pen in the books he writes. Lakhe emphasized that the reflection of ideological depth, along with in-depth analysis met through educational, scientific, social, and economic experiences, emanates from the pen of this scientific writer. Lakhe added that the way one works in a field influences their thinking.

Rajan Lakhe, the Pimpri Chinchwad City President of Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, further asserted that we can discern the scientific approach from Maladkar’s writing in ‘Swanandi,’ a collection of short stories, and ‘Rajas,’ a collection of poems, both released on April 6, 2024, in Baner, Pune. Lakhe shared his insights on this occasion, providing a beautiful perspective into the world of litterateurs.

Mrs. Ujwala Maladkar, in her introduction, informed that the author has endeavored to convey through his stories and poetic expressions the effect scientific progress, such as in artificial intelligence and scientific creativity, will have on the next generation.

Colonel (Retd) Suresh Patil, a war veteran and president of this literary program, shared his exciting experiences during his tenure with the Indian army. Patil stated that Dr. Maladkar’s scientific stories will give readers a realistic feel of life. He further remarked that the movement and consistency of this 91-year-young writer in science and literature are indeed commendable and provide a new direction of thought.

Addressing the large gathering of intellectuals and accomplished citizens, author Dr. Maladkar mentioned how the revolution in the world of science and information technology has changed human life. He emphasized on handling the good or bad effects on our emotional world by drawing a framework and keeping in mind the possible future risks and dangers.

The audience further enjoyed the enthralling singing performances of poems written by author Dr. Nilkanth Maladkar, melodiously sung by Vandana Ravalallu, Madhuri Rubdi, Shailesh Bavsar, and Prasad Kothi.

The program was beautifully moderated by Vijay Bhise and Suyash Kulkarni, and it was graced by the presence of Samir Maladkar, Dr. Manish Maladkar, Deepali Maladkar, Dutta Giramkar, Nitin Samant, Mohan Babar, amongst many dignitaries and ex-students of Mrs. Maladkar of Hindustan Antibiotics School, who collectively organized this memorable program.
