Dr Suresh Gosavi Appointed Vice Chancellor Of Savitribai Phule Pune University
Pune, 6th June 2023: In a significant development for the academic landscape of Maharashtra, the Governor and Chancellor of public universities in the state, Ramesh Bais, announced the appointment of new Vice-Chancellors for several prestigious institutions.
Dr Ravindra Dattatray Kulkarni has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mumbai, while Dr Suresh Wamangir Gosavi will take on the role of Vice-Chancellor at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). Additionally, Dr Sanjay Ghanshyam Bhave has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth in Dapoli.
The appointments were made in accordance with the Governor’s responsibilities as the Chancellor of the public universities in the state.
