Earthquake Victims’ Certificates Found False: Pune Police Constable Booked

Pune, 12th August 2023: A grave incident has come to light involving a constable within the Pune police force who allegedly secured employment under false pretenses by submitting fabricated documents related to earthquake victims.
The individual in question has been identified as Police Constable Govind Madhukar Ingle, stationed at the police headquarters in Shivajinagar.
Assistant Police Inspector Praveen Sampatrao Abdagire has lodged an official complaint at the Shivajinagar Police Station, leading to the initiation of legal proceedings. Ingle had successfully participated in the recruitment process for the Pune Police Force in October 2021, utilizing the earthquake-affected quota. During his application, he submitted documentation claiming to be a victim of the earthquake.
However, upon meticulous verification of the submitted documents, it was revealed that they were fraudulent. Consequently, a case has been registered against him on charges of deceiving the government.
The investigation is currently being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Naik.
