Eight players in lead at District Selection under 11 and Under 19 Chess Championship

Pune, April 19, 2023: Viresh Sharnarthi , Nishant Jawalkar, Anushka Kutwal, Aditi Kayal, Shlok Mali, Shaasvat Gupta, Advik Agrawal, Nidhi Khinvsara were table toppers with four points on the inaugural day of the under 19 Pune District Selection Chess Tournament which is being organised by Pune District Chess Circle and played at Ganesh Sabhagruha, Karve road , Pune & Ashwamedh Hall , Karve Road , Pune

In the Under 11 girls event Nidhi Khinvasara ended sole leader with 4 points , Shlok Mail and Advik Agrawal were joint leaders after 4 rounds with 4 points apiece.

The tournament was inaugurated at the hands Mr.Mahesh Kunte, Chairman & Managing Director of Varad Property Solutions Pvt.Ltd. & Guest of Honour Mr.Ashwin Trimal Vice President PDCC. Mr.Tournament Coordinator Mr.Prakash Kunte, Mr.Vivek Ratnalikar and Mr.Nitin Shenvi were present on the occasion.
