Eight Teams Advance to Quarterfinals in gold and Silver Group at Ashok Ruia Memorial Winter National Bridge Championship

Pune, 13th December 2024: Indian Railway A, Fenesta, Monica Jaju, Pravah, ISK, Challenger, Shree Cement, Mohota entered into quarterfinal in gold group at Ashok Ruia Memorial Winter National Bridge Championship, organized by the Pune Region Bridge Association under the aegis of the Bridge Federation of India (BFI) and Maharashtra Bridge Association (MBA), has reached an exciting juncture. The top eight teams from both the Gold and Silver Groups have secured their spots in the quarterfinals.

The intense competition, held at the Shri Shivchhatrapati Krida Sankul Balewadi, saw Indian Railway A emerge as the top performers in the eighth round, accumulating 120.55 points. Fenesta and Monica Jaju secured the second and third positions respectively, with scores of 108.39 and 103.12 points.

The championship was inaugurated by State Sports Commissioner Suraj Mandhare, BFI President Prasad Kini, and Amala Ruia. As the tournament progresses, bridge enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the thrilling quarterfinals and the ultimate showdown for the championship title.
