Eighth Edition of IT Olympiad – 2018 Held

 IT Olympiad  2018   organized by MCE Society’s PAI college of VEDA concluded successfully at Azam Campus, Pune on 5 th December 2018. This was eighth Edition of this IT Olympiad.

The award was organised to recognize and felicitate top ranking Students and educational Institutional for their

maximum participation. Dr. Kailash Katkar ( MD & CEO Quick Heal Technologies Ltd. ) was the chief guest of the event.Dr PA Inamdar presided over the function. Abeda  Inamdar ,Rishi Aacharya( Director of IT Olympiad ),Mumtaz Sayyed were present.

IT Olympiad Excellence Awards was bestowed upon two different categories: CUBS & LIONS. The winners included Avanish Singh, (9 th Grade Student of Pawar

Public School, Hadapsar. Pune.) Has Topped in CUBS Category. Shubham Sali Anand, (Grade 12 th Student from Fergusson Junior College) has topped in LIONS

Category.

 IT Cordinator Teachers Mrs. Sarika Kulkarni & Mrs. Rupali Kshirsagar were also honored for their Professional & Excellence training for their Students.

Recognizing the contributions & outstanding performance in IT Olympiad from the School & their Management & Exceptional Performance, IT Olymapid Excellence Award – Outstanding performance in maximum Participation School & Topper of the School in CUBS Category Sujaid Ansari (Grade 6 th Student of Rais Junior college,Bhiwandi  )was honored by Dr. P.A.Inamdar President of MCE Society.

The organisation awards were bestowed upon  Kushal Thanvi (Grade 11 th Student of DON Bosco Junior College )also to  Atharva Shah (Grade 11 th Student of Fergusson Junior College )for their equal scores in India’s Most Popular Championship IT Olympiad Season – VIII. They both were honoured by Prof. Rishi Aacharya Director of IT Olympiad.

Dr. P.A.Inamdar,President of MCE Society  talked on ‘Transforming Education through Digital Technology’ and

also shared the steps taken to improve the quality of IT education.
