Electricity Tariff Petition: Public E-Hearing Scheduled For February 27 In Pune
Pune, 20th February 2025: Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) is set to hold a public e-hearing on 27th February, regarding the multi-year tariff petition filed by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The hearing will take place at 10:30 AM in the main auditorium (e-facility centre) of the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP).
The e-hearing will address MSEDCL’s petition for determining the total revenue requirement and proposed electricity rates. The petition covers the final true-up for fiscal years 2022-23 and 2023-24, the provisional true-up for fiscal year 2024-25, and the fifth control period spanning from fiscal year 2025-26 to 2029-30.
This public hearing is a crucial step in the regulatory process, allowing stakeholders to provide input on the proposed electricity rates and revenue requirements.
