Enquiry ordered against Vishrantwadi police PI, Staff after Facebook Live allegations
Pune, 22 July 2020: The issue of a complainant being allegedly beaten by Police Inspector (Crime) Ravindra Kadam of Vishrantwadi police station is yet to be resolved when another person went Facebook Live for about one hour and made several allegations against him and others.
Kundan Lashkare of Vishrantwadi went live on Facebook and made allegations including implicating him in a false case. He also made corruption charges against the policemen.
DCP (Zone 4) Pankaj Deshmukh told Punekarnews.in that Lashkare has been issued notice to submit proof of all the allegations he has levelled in live video.
Earlier Mahesh Bhanudas Gole of Dighi had complained against Inspector Kadam for allegedly abusing and assaulting him for sending complaint messages to the police commissioner against Kadam.
DCP Deshmukh said that enquiry is complete in Gole’s complaint. ACP level officer conducted enquiry which will be sent to senior officials for further action, DCP Deshmukh said.
