PCMC: 886 new COVID cases, 203 discharged in Pimpri Chinchwad today
Pimpri, July 22, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 886 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 203 people got discharged from hospitals while 12 people died today. The report is for the period between 7 pm July 21 to 8 pm July 22 (today).
According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 13107 out of which 8014 have been cured while 238 have died. 3379 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 282 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 63 non-PCMC residents have died while 637 have been cured.
The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 337607. Today, 10576 patients have been tested as positive while 280 died. Also newly 5552 patients have been cured today. Till now 187769 people have been cured while 12556 have died. There are still 136980 active patients in the state.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 11,92,915 across the country. Out of this, 7,53,049 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 28,732 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 4,11,133 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
