Every Common Person Should Get Best of the Medical Treatment: Dr Dilip Mhaisekar

Pune, 29th April 2023: Both the Central and State Governments handled the critical Covid situation in the country very well in terms of giving treatment to the patients. We were totally unaware of the drugs or any other remedies to treat Covid but despite all these, together we managed the situation said, Dr. Dilip Mhaisekar, Director, DMER, Government of Maharashtra.

Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences, Symbiosis International University organized the 25th edition of “SYMHEALTH” a National Conference on healthcare on 28th and 29th April 2023 at Symbiosis International University Campus, Lavale, Pune. Dr. Dilip Mhaisekar, Director, DMER, Government of Maharashtra was invited as the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function of “SYMHEALTH 2023”. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, Founder and President, Symbiosis and Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) presided over the function.

Speaking at the occasion Dr. Mhaisekar said, India is the fastest growing economy in the world and our focus is mainly on the health sector. The Government of Maharashtra has started an awareness program in society for the diseases like obesity, breast cancer, diabetes, etc. Our aim is to reach out to the last person in the society. Every common person should get the best of the treatment, Dr. Mhaisekar added further.

Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, Founder and President, Symbiosis and Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) in his presidential address mentioned that even though Corona has created a major imbalance in the whole world but it also taught us certain important things in life like taking care of your health, uncertainly- life is uncertain and practice a little bit of spirituality.

Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director, Symbiosis and Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Provost, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Lt Gen M. A. Tutakne, Advisor, Medical Projects, Symbiosis, Prof. Dr. Arun Jamkar, Distinguished Professor, Symbiosis International University, Dr. Pravin Shingare, Medical Advisor, Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre and Symbiosis Medical College for Women were the other distinguished dignitaries present for the function.
