Highlighting the growing urbanization and industrial expansion in Pune’s outskirts, Fadnavis recalled that the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate was established in 2018 to enhance crime control. He announced that the commissionerate would soon move into its own state-of-the-art building.

Strict Action Against Crimes Affecting Industries
Fadnavis underscored the state’s focus on industrial growth and warned that industries should not face undue harassment. He directed authorities to take strict action against criminal activities affecting businesses.

“The Mhalunge Industrial Police Complex, built under the social responsibility fund, is a step in ensuring industrial security. Complaints from industrialists must be addressed promptly, and crimes impacting businesses should be dealt with under stringent laws like MCOCA,” he asserted.
